Last year, when I participated in the first‑ever Barcelona Hotel Bar Week, I was genuinely moved by how transformative the experience was. Beyond the impressive cocktails we enjoyed and the vibrant hotel bar scene, what struck me most was the atmosphere of openness. I watched locals—many of whom had never felt comfortable walking into a luxury hotel—step confidently into these beautiful spaces, meet bartenders from around the world, and feel not just welcomed but celebrated. It was the kind of event that didn’t just showcase a city; it connected people to it.

This is why the announcement of the second edition of Barcelona Hotel Bar Week, taking place from 21 to 27 September 2026, feels so exciting. The upcoming edition builds on last year’s momentum but expands it in thoughtful ways.

For 2026, the program will run throughout the day, not only in the evenings, opening the door to even more people—professionals, locals, travelers, and anyone curious to explore Barcelona through its hotel bars. Expect a rich blend of masterclasses, tastings, talks, guest shifts, product presentations, and cultural activities, spread across the city in a way that invites discovery at your own pace.

Each hotel bar will present:

• At least two exclusive cocktails created for the week.
• A signature drink + a low‑ABV or alcohol‑free option.

All available at a fixed price of €12 — reinforcing the event’s mission of accessibility and inclusivity.

The Mix & Eat program is also back, expanding its collaborations between chefs and bartenders to offer brunches, tasting menus, and tapas pairings designed specifically for the week. And this year introduces a new dimension: an emphasis on wellbeing and lifestyle, with activities built around balance, mindfulness, and modern hospitality trends.

To make the week even more accessible, a new BHBW Pass will allow participants to join activities, enjoy priority access, benefit from special prices, and unlock exclusive digital content in a simple, flexible format.
